Job summary

Intel Corporation in Penang seeks a Yield Development Engineer to advance manufacturing by driving yield improvements. You will identify yield limiters, analyze data, and collaborate on process changes to enhance manufacturability and product quality.

As part of the Intel Foundry team, you will contribute to process development, run factory experiments, and develop tools for high-volume data analysis. On-site role in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering, computer engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in semiconductor failure analysis or test engineering.
• Strong knowledge of array architecture and failure mechanisms; SCAN ATPG, fault models.
• Proficiency in fault isolation: EFI, circuit and layout analysis.
• Experience debugging logic/memory failures from silicon bring-up to production.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze yield limiters using statistical techniques and big data.
• Develop and implement process development roadmaps to achieve yield milestones.
• Consolidate and visualize diverse data sources for actionable yield insights.
• Perform fault isolation and root-cause analysis of failures.
• Collaborate across design, test, and process teams to improve manufacturability.
• Create tools and algorithms for high-volume data analysis and yield modeling.
• Drive cross-functional collaborations to resolve yield and process issues.
