Job summary

Food Excellence Specialist Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a candidate to operate and monitor wastewater treatment plant activities, perform general cleaning and ensure safety standards are maintained in the plant. You will contribute to WWTP process control, chemical usage, record keeping, and compliance with DOE and waste regulations, while supervising a general worker.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to work in a chemical environment under tight deadlines.
• Willing to work in rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily operation and monitoring of wastewater treatment plant activity.
• General cleaning and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in the plant.
• WWTP process control and improvement; manage chemical usage and process control requirements.
• Record all activity processes, chemical usage and compliance with the law (DOE).
• Supervise WWTP helpers and monitor general worker activities.
• Observe and suggest improvements; perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Ensure all workplaces in the Utility area, Boiler and WWTP are clean and safe.
• Implement Food Safety Systems (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FSSC22000, BRC, IFS, HALAL).
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Education

Certificate/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

General cleaning, Manage and maintain safety and housekeeping standards in the plant

WWTP process control and improvement, ensure the use of chemicals and the process control requirements

Record all activity processes, and the use of chemicals and compliance with the law DOE & Record dry waste and comply with the law

Servicing (Pump, pneumatic connection, piping and etc) & monitor and supervise WWTP helper (General worker)

Observe and suggest improvement for WWTP (Make scheduled and planned Preventive Maintenance)

Ensure all workplace at Utility area, Boiler and WWTP clean and safe

Responsible for Food Safety System implementation ( e.g HACCP, GMP, FSSC22000, BRC, IFS, HALAL)

Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or any other related engineering field.


• Minimum 2 years relevant or manufacturing environment experience


• Able to work in chemical environment under tight deadline pressure.


• Willing to work in rotational shifts
