Job summary

Hai Soon Leong in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking an industrious operator to manage IETS and boiler daily operations, ensuring effluent quality and compliance with DOE Standard A. The role requires shift work and hands-on maintenance of treatment equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1–2 years in operating a WWTP or similar manufacturing setting, with familiarity in pumps, blowers, dosing systems and filters; SP/ Diploma is preferred, CePIETSO is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Certificate/Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Water/Wastewater Technology, or a related field is an advantage.
• CePIETSO Certification (Competent Person for Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in operating a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) or in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in the food manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with pumps, blowers, dosing systems, filters and wastewater treatment processes is preferred.
