Job summary

Hai Soon Leong Sdn Bhd is seeking an operator to manage IETS (Industrial Effluent Treatment System) and boiler operations daily. The role supports compliance with water quality standards and scheduled waste disposal. You will work in shifts, perform sludge and oil cleanup, and assist with routine duties as assigned by management.

Candidates with SPM or equivalent, plus a related Diploma and WWTP experience, are encouraged. Certification like CePIETSO adds advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Certificate/Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Water/Wastewater Technology, or a related field is an advantage.
• CePIETSO Certification (Competent Person for Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in operating a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) or in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in the food manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with pumps, blowers, dosing systems, filters and wastewater treatment processes is preferred.
