Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Engineer, WWTP to oversee wastewater treatment operations and environmental compliance across our manufacturing sites. You will provide technical support to plant teams, ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and drive WWTP process optimization and standardization across the group.

Based in Malaysia, the role requires strong knowledge of EQA 1974, DOE requirements, and ISO 14001/45001, with hands-on experience in jar testing, chemical dosing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Technology.
• 5 years of industrial WWTP operations experience.
• 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• CePIETSO-BP & PCP certification is required.
• CePSWaM certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee WWTP operations, troubleshooting, and dosing guidance across sites.
• Conduct site audits and monitor WWTP performance and effluent compliance.
• Develop and standardize WWTP SOPs and KPIs across sites.
• Collaborate with consultants on upgrades and project implementations.
• Ensure compliance with EQA 1974, DOE, LUAS, and related regulations.
