Job summary

Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee all workshop operations in Shah Alam. You will ensure SOP compliance, drive revenue growth, and monitor profitability by workshop, product and service.

The role focuses on productivity, quality, customer experience, and cost control. You will lead continuous improvement, manage inventory and procurement coordination, and support the rollout of new workshops to enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of all workshops and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Drive workshop sales performance and achievement of revenue targets.
• Monitor gross profit by workshop, product and service, and recommend corrective actions.
• Improve technician productivity, bay utilisation and vehicle throughput.
• Ensure excellent customer experience through high service standards and complaint resolution.
• Maintain workshop quality standards and minimise rework and warranty claims.
• Oversee inventory, parts availability and stock control with Procurement.
• Control operational costs including labour, consumables, utilities and overtime.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Coach, develop and evaluate workshop teams.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation.
• Support the opening and operational readiness of new workshops.
• Prepare monthly operational performance presentations for the Country Manager.
