Job summary

Responsibilities

• Digital Workplace Strategy: Create and implement a digital workplace strategy aligned with finance objectives, focusing on efficiency, security, and compliance.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of the digital workplace infrastructure, end-user computing, including networks and security per regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration Tools: Manage and optimize collaboration tools to facilitate secure communication and collaboration for Aeon Bank while ensuring data confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• End-User Support: Assist the team to provide technical assistance to employees, ensuring rapid resolution of issues and high service standards.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure digital workplace technologies are compliant with industry regulations and security standards with robust security measures.
• Vendor Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts to meet finance industry requirements.
• Team Leadership: Help lead IT professionals with direction, training, and performance evaluation to ensure regulatory compliance and high service levels.
• User Training: Develop and deliver training to ensure proficiency in digital workplace tools and technologies, in compliance with industry regulations.
• Technology Assessment: Assess emerging technologies and tools in the finance industry and make recommendations based on best practices.

As a member of the Technology Operation Department, you play a crucial role in ensuring the availability of all IT services delivered and supported by the department. You accomplish this by handling and coordinating communications about incidents and service requests, supporting their resolution, and contributing to the documentation and codification of knowledge captured during the process.

In the financial industry, the Workplace Technology Assistant Manager is responsible for supervising the digital workplace infrastructure and technology solutions that improve operational efficiency, security, and compliance. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of technology in the finance industry and the ability to support the team lead charged with administering the digital workplace environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Digital Workplace Strategy: Create and implement a digital workplace strategy that is aligned with the objectives of the finance organization, with a focus on operational efficiency, security, and compliance.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the digital workplace infrastructure, end user’s computing, including networks and security measures, in accordance with regulatory requirements specific to the financial industry.
• Collaboration Tools: Manage and optimize collaboration tools and platforms to facilitate secure communication and collaboration for Aeon Bank while ensuring data confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• End-User Support: Assist the team to provide technical assistance to employees, ensuring that digital workplace-related issues are resolved expeditiously and that services satisfy the high standards of the industry.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that digital workplace technologies are compliant with industry-specific regulations and security standards and that robust security measures are in place to safeguard sensitive financial data and customer information.
• Vendor Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors and service providers, involved in procurement, negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure that technology investments satisfy the requirements of the financial industry.
• Team Leadership: Assist to lead a team of IT professionals by providing direction, training, and performance evaluation to ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and a high level of service.
• User Training: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that team and other employees are proficient in the use of digital workplace tools and technologies, in compliance with industry regulations.
• Technology Assessment: Assess emerging technologies and tools in the finance industry and make adoption or enhancement recommendations based on industry best practices and business requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• At least 4 - 5 years of IT related experience, with a focus on digital workplace technologies in the finance industry
• Strong knowledge of the specific regulations and compliance requirements of the financial industry.
• Experience in procurement process, contract and vendor management.
• Project management expertise and the capacity to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of the finest security practices in the finance industry.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytic abilities.
• Relevant credentials (such as ITIL)
• Experience with workplace technologies specific to the financial industry, such as Apple and Microsoft devices, Mobile Device Management, Data Loss Prevention, Network Security (Firewall, SSE, Network Segmentation) and LAN & Wifi infrastructure.
• Tools for data analysis and reporting expertise.
