Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Workday HCM Consultant to be based in Kuala Lumpur. You will guide clients through transformation, implementation and operation phases of Workday, configuring the product to meet business requirements and design specs.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, prototyping, testing, and documentation, plus maintaining close collaboration with Leaders and Engagement Managers. Strong communication and HRIS experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years demonstrated experience in Human Resources or Recruiting
• Workday functional experience highly desired
• Proficient oral and written communications skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Team-oriented approach with focus on collaborating effectively
• Confident facilitation and presentation skills
• Experience building relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Knowledge translating business requirements into system requirements
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative HR technology environment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR/HRIS or related field
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Become a Workday champion and partner with your team and customers to achieve excellence in every phase of the project
• Assist the Lead Consultant in gathering requirements, designing, prototyping, testing and implementing solutions
• Participate in Workday HCM implementation activities including discovery, architecture, configuration, documentation, testing and project reviews
• Configure the system to meet customer expectations and requirements
• Provide regular updates on timeline, tasks, risks, and responsibilities to project leads and managers
• Keep abreast of Workday updates and project changes; pursue skill growth and initiative
• Communicate effectively on timeline, tasks, risks, and roles and responsibilities
