Job summary

Wuxi Autowell Technology Co., Ltd. invites applications for a Wiring Technician to join our new Malaysia plant.

You will read drawings, assemble wiring harnesses, install and route wiring in control cabinets, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role requires a Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering or related fields, hands-on experience in industrial wiring, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Wiring Technician or similar role in an industrial setting, preferably PV automation or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices related to electrical work.
• Ability to use electrical tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Wiring and Assembly: Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams; assemble wiring harnesses according to specs; install and route wiring.
• Electrical Installation: Install and connect electrical components and perform initial testing for proper functionality and standards compliance.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in wiring, circuits and control systems; conduct routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Quality Control: Ensure wiring and installations meet safety and quality standards and document inspections.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain wiring diagrams, installation procedures and test results; prepare reports on wiring activities and modifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Wiring and Assembly:

Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Assemble electrical components and wiring harnesses according to engineering specifications.

Install and route wiring in control cabinets and automation equipment.

2. Electrical Installation:

Install and connect electrical components, such as sensors, switches, PLCs, and motors.

Perform initial testing of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with standards.

3. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

Diagnose and resolve electrical issues related to wiring, circuits, and control systems.

Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential problems and prevent downtime.

4. Quality Control:

Ensure all wiring and electrical installations meet quality standards and safety regulations.

Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify compliance with engineering specifications.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of wiring diagrams, installation procedures, and test results.

Prepare reports on wiring activities, including any modifications or adjustments made during installation or troubleshooting.

Qualifications and Skills

Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.

Proven experience as a Wiring Technician or similar role in an industrial setting, preferably in PV automation or manufacturing.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring techniques.

Ability to use electrical tools and equipment safely and effectively.
