Victory Lighting Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Wiring Technician to join our engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Pasir Gudang, Johor. As a Wiring Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, assembly, and maintenance of electrical wiring systems for our lighting and electrical products. Your expertise in electrical systems will be vital to ensuring the quality, safety, and reliability of our manufacturing operations and delivered solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and connect electrical wiring systems and components according to technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards
• Perform testing and inspection of wiring installations to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance
• Troubleshoot electrical wiring issues and identify faults within lighting and electrical systems
• Maintain detailed records of work completed, including documentation of installations, repairs, and modifications
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineering staff to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
• Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations and industry best practices
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Support the training and guidance of junior technicians as required

What we're looking for

• A relevant qualification or certification in electrical engineering, electrical installation, or wiring technology
• Proven experience working as a Wiring Technician or in a similar electrical installation or assembly role
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring systems, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations relevant to the industry
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control mindset
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Physical capability to perform manual work, including standing, bending, and lifting
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when required
