Job summary

Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd is seeking a Wireless Engineer to support installation, commissioning, testing and fault handling of 4G/5G wireless networks.

The role involves site delivery, service activation and migration, and crafting technical designs for both pre- and post-sales planning. The successful candidate will analyze root causes, guide cross-functional teams, and contribute to resolving complex product issues while maintaining a strong focus on network performance and

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication or related technical field.
• Familiarity with wireless communication principles and equipment.
• Understanding of network architecture and key technologies across standards.

• Proficiency in wireless network installation, commissioning, testing, fault handling and tool usage.

Job description

Proficiency in wireless network products (4G/5G) installation and commissioning, functional testing, fault handling methods, and tool usage.

Hands-on capability in site delivery, service activation, service migration, network maintenance, and fault handling.

Ability to complete technical solution design for pre-sales or post-sales planning, site design and service migration plans.

Capable of analysing and identifying root causes to resolve product technical issues.

Strong cross-departmental organizational and driving skills and capable of guiding team members in skill development and problem resolution.

Professional Knowledge Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree qualification or above majoring in Telecommunication/ Electronic & Electrical / Computer Science / Engineering / or other related technical discipline.

Familiarity with wireless communication principles, wireless equipment, and related products.

Understanding of network architecture, characteristics, and key technologies of various standards/systems.

Basic knowledge of IT fundamentals, IP fundamentals, and data fundamentals.

Willing to travel overseas.
