Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Administrator in Kuala Lumpur to administer Windows Server and oversee virtualization platforms, including VMware and Hyper-V. You will ensure performance, security, and reliability of critical services in a fast-paced environment.

You will also develop PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks, assist with backup and disaster recovery, and contribute to incident and change management while maintaining clear technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
• Hands-on with VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter.
• Knowledge of Hyper-V environments.
• Scripting with PowerShell for automation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot server and virtualization infrastructure.
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Participate in Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
• Maintain technical documentation.

• Administer and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, including installation, patching, upgrades, hardening, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter and Hyper-V environments, including VM provisioning, clustering, HA, migration, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot server and virtualization infrastructure, ensuring performance, availability, and stability.
• Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and infrastructure operations.
• Participate in Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management, and maintain technical documentation.
• Develop PowerShell automation and support infrastructure security, compliance, and operational standards.
