Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled infrastructure professional to manage VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere/VCenter/ESXi environments, and Aria Suite. You will develop automation scripts with Ansible and PowerCLI/PowerShell, support Windows and Linux VMs, and monitor and optimize the platform for reliability.

The role involves coordinating with multiple teams to deliver stable infrastructure services, handling upgrades, patches, and performance improvements in an enterprise setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including SDDC Manager, workload domains, and lifecycle management.
• Administer VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi environments, including clusters, HA, DRS, storage, networking, and performance optimization.
• Utilize VMware Aria (vRealize) Suite for infrastructure automation, monitoring, logging, analytics, and operations management.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and PowerCLI/PowerShell scripts for infrastructure provisioning and operational automation.
• Administer and support Windows and Linux virtual machines in enterprise environments.
• Monitor VMware infrastructure, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement reliability improvements.
• Manage infrastructure upgrades, patching, configuration, and lifecycle activities while ensuring platform availability.
• Provide enterprise production support and collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps, Security, Network, and Application teams to deliver reliable infrastructure services.
