Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Junior Infrastructure Engineer to support Windows Server administration and infrastructure automation within the AWF (AppWorks Framework) domain. You will help maintain enterprise platform environments and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities include server administration, monitoring, Active Directory management, backup and recovery, and PowerShell automation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure support, system administration, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2019 or newer.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with Active Directory administration.
• Familiarity with server monitoring, performance tuning and capacity management.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and support Windows Server 2019+ environments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell.

• Manage Active Directory users and groups.
• Execute backup, restore and disaster recovery procedures.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Infrastructure Engineer with experience in Windows Server administration and infrastructure automation to support and maintain enterprise platform environments within the AWF (AppWorks Framework) domain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for server administration, system monitoring, Active Directory management, backup and recovery operations, and automation through scripting. This role offers the opportunity to work across both Windows and multi-platform environments while supporting critical business applications and infrastructure services.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure support, system administration, or platform engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server 2019 and above.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with Active Directory administration.
• Knowledge of server monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity management.
• Experience in backup and recovery operations.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL).
• Exposure to Linux, Unix, or AIX operating systems.
• Scripting knowledge in Bash and/or Python.
