Job summary

Renaissance Hotels in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks a non-management Food & Beverage professional to handle wine service, stock checks, and guest questions about origin and style. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and motivating staff, while following all safety, security, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Answer guest questions or concerns regarding the origin, vintage, and style of various wines.
• Check quality and quantity of all stock and supplies; requisition and restock as needed.
• Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
• Count bank at end of shift and complete cashier reports; resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure staff teamwork; assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching.
