Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Windows Support Engineer (Infrastructure) for a long-term direct contract in Petaling Jaya. The role requires Mandarin communication and Malaysian citizenship, with a hybrid work arrangement (2 days in office, 3 days from home).

You will manage Windows Server environments, provide enterprise infrastructure support, and work with virtualization, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and network troubleshooting to keep systems reliable.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizenship is mandatory.
• Mandarin communication skills are mandatory.
• Strong hands-on Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, and networking troubleshooting.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of NAS, SAN, RAID, and NFS.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
• Provide technical support for Windows operating systems and enterprise infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and support VMware or Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Support cloud environments, including AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Troubleshoot networking issues involving DNS, DHCP, and connectivity.
• Support storage technologies such as NAS, SAN, RAID, and NFS.
• Perform system monitoring, log analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
• Support backup, recovery, and data protection activities.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.
