Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Wintel Engineer to provide expert support for Windows Servers in a Kuala Lumpur onsite environment.

Expect responsibilities including installation, configuration, and administration of Windows Server systems, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and WSUS, with emphasis on Hyper-V virtualization.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in a related discipline is required.
• Applicants must have legal right to work in Malaysia; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Wintel/Windows Server administration.
• Day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Windows Server and virtualization issues.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
• Basic administration of DNS, DHCP, File Server, and WSUS.
• Familiarity with Hyper-V or other virtualization technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, configuration and admin support for Windows Servers (2012/2016/2019).
• Perform daily support and troubleshooting for Windows Server and virtualization issues, focusing on Hyper-V.
• Monitor system health and ensure server availability and stability.
• Assist with server patching, updates, and decommissioning activities.
• Assist with Active Directory setup, management and Group Policy administration.
• Perform basic administration of DNS, DHCP, File Server, and WSUS.
• Document system configurations, changes and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and other teams for escalated issues and change management.
