Job summary

Prestasi Flour Mill (M) Sdn Bhd (199401031689) seeks an Assistant Silo Operator for raw wheat to support intake, storage, and distribution within our silos. You will operate equipment, monitor storage conditions, and uphold safety and quality throughout handling.

The role covers receiving shipments, coordinating with departments and transporters, sampling grains, maintaining segregation of varieties, performing basic silo maintenance, and ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Willing to work shifts including Sunday and Public Holidays.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments of raw wheat and document deliveries.
• Coordinate receiving activities with relevant departments and transporters.
• Collect grain samples for visual inspection.
• Operate machinery to load, unload and transfer raw wheat into silos.
• Monitor segregation of wheat varieties or grades.
• Observe panel lights and adjust conveyors for proper feed into silos.
• Conduct regular inspections, sampling, and testing for quality standards.
• Perform basic maintenance on silos and equipment and report issues.
