Job summary

Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Well Operations SSHE Coordinator in Kuala Lumpur to lead safety, health and environment activities for offshore and onshore operations.

You will coordinate SSHE planning, monitor performance, review contractor documentation, and support onboarding at the Miri helibase, ensuring offshore compliance.

The role requires a degree in science or engineering, at least 5 years in Malaysian upstream oil & gas, and strong communication and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in science, engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the Malaysian upstream oil & gas industry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting drilling, workover and/or well services operations.
• Knowledge of SSHE management systems, inspections and audits.
• Good communication, reporting and coordination skills.

Location : Kuala Lumpur Office (KLO) and/or Onshore/Offshore Sarawak

Scope of Works:

• Coordinate SSHE planning, monitoring and implementation of the SSHE Management System to support the achievement of operations SSHE objectives
• Prepare SSHE progress and performance reports for management, partners and corporate stakeholders, as required
• Review contractor SSHE documentation and provide SSHE input to contract-related activities, where required
• Participate in SSHE inspections and audits at company and contractor facilities
• Administer and promote SSHE communication, awareness, recognition and incentive programmes
• Support the development and review of worksite SSHE procedures
• Coordinate personnel onboarding and mobilisation at the helibase in Miri, Sarawak, including verification of mandatory offshore safety, medical, vaccination, competency and related personnel documentation

Experience:

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in science, engineering or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the Malaysian upstream oil & gas industry
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting drilling, workover and/or well services operations
• Knowledge of SSHE management systems, inspections and audits
