Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is looking for an experienced SSHE professional to lead drilling safety and environmental management.

You will report to the SSHE Wells Team Lead and serve as the SSHE focal point for drilling operations, driving the SSHE Management System and continuous improvement across sites. You will perform SIMOPS and risk assessments for critical drilling activities, coordinate planning and assurance, and advise management on effective controls.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in science or engineering.
• Minimum 12 years in upstream oil and gas industry.
• Minimum 7 years supporting drilling, workover, and/or P&A operations including exploration, appraisal & development drilling.
• Relevant experience shall be supported by rig/project details.
• Possess Sarawak Work Permit is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Report to the SSHE Wells Team Lead and act as the SSHE focal point for drilling operations and management system.
• Perform SIMOPS and risk assessment for critical drilling activities.
• Coordinate SSHE planning, monitoring and assurance to meet drilling SSHE objectives.
• Advise Drilling Management on SSHE processes and operational controls.
• Know-how of drilling and well control equipment including BOP systems and mud-gas equipment.
• Familiar with API, IOGP and NFPA requirements.
• Develop drilling-specific SSHE deliverables like ERP, Oil Spill Contingency Plan, ERA.
• Review SSHE, Well Control and Blowout requirements; amend controls where needed.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness arrangements, drills and exercises.
• Facilitate incident investigations and follow-up corrective actions.
• Monitor drilling SSHE focus areas including DROPS, lifting operations and well control.
• Facilitate SSHE audits, rig inspections and assurance reviews.
• Coordinate SSHE activities across drilling sites and support bases.

Responsibilities

• Report to the SSHE Wells Team Lead and act as the SSHE focal point for drilling
  operations, including implementation and continuous improvement of the SSHE
  Management System.


• Perform SIMOPS and operational risk management assessment for critical drilling
  activities


• Coordinate SSHE planning, monitoring and assurance to support achievement ofdrilling SSHE objectives.


• Advise Drilling Management on the development and implementation of effectivedrilling SSHE management processes and operational controls.


• Have good working knowledge of critical drilling and well control equipment, includingBOP systems, accumulator units, choke manifolds and mud-gas separation equipment.


• Familiar with drilling equipment inspection requirements and applicable industrystandards and recommended practices, including API, IOGP and NFPA requirements


• Develop and implement drilling-specific SSHE deliverables including ERP, Oil SpillContingency Plan, Environmental Risk Assessment, Contractor SSHE Audits, rig/spreadvetting and SSHE Plans.


• Review relevant SSHE, Well Control and Blowout Response requirements andrecommend amendments or additional controls, where required.


• Coordinate emergency preparedness arrangements, drills and exercises involving rigs,vessels and support bases.


• Facilitate incident investigations, preparation of final reports, lessons learned andfollow-up of corrective actions.


• Monitor key drilling SSHE focus areas including DROPS, temporary pipework, lifting
  operations, well control and other critical operational risks.


• Facilitate SSHE audits, rig inspections, assurance reviews and follow-up actions.


• Coordinate SSHE activities across drilling worksites and onshore supply bases.

Requirements

• Shall possess a minimum Bachelor's degree or Diploma in science or engineering and have at least 12 years of working experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.


• In addition, the candidate shall have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience supporting drilling, workover, and/or Plus and Abandonment (P&A) operations, including experience exploration, appraisal & development drilling projects


• Relevant experience shall be supported by details such as rig/project name, role, operation type and assignment period.
