Job summary

SIS Speedy Industrial Sdn Bhd in Pontian, Johor, is seeking a welding operator to set up and operate MIG and TIG welds on metal structural shapes. You will read drawings to determine adjustments and tools required and ensure welded parts meet specifications.

The role requires at least one year of welding experience, ability to read drawings, and willingness to work on a rotation shift at our Pontian facility. You will maintain equipment and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of welding operator experience.
• Graduate from ILP/ADTEC/Sijil Kemahiran is encouraged to apply.
• Able to read drawings and weld to specifications.
• Knowledge of welding processes and equipment.
• Able to use standard measuring tools.
• Willing to work in Pontian and on rotation shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate MIG and TIG welding machines.
• Read drawings to determine adjustments and tools required.
• Weld metal shapes to required specifications.
• Perform quality and dimensional checks during welding.
