Job summary

C MAX Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. in Penang is seeking a welding technician to assist in machine setup and material preparation per process drawings and pick lists, and to perform manufacturing tasks according to QA checksheets and customer specs.

The role focuses on reducing wastage and downtime, supporting TPM, maintaining 5S standards, and delivering daily production reports while upholding safety, health, and environment policies.

Qualifications

• Welding Certification.
• Minimum 1 year welding experience.
• Experience or knowledge in TIG/MIG/FCAW welding.
• Good team player, self-motivated and strong teamwork spirit.

Responsibilities

• Assist in machine and material setup based on process drawing and material pick list.
• Perform manufacturing work per internal QA checksheet and customer specifications.
• Aim to reduce material wastage, setup time and run time.
• Support TPM program to reduce machine downtime.
• Uphold SHE policies and safety duties.
• Ensure machine run time and output meet supervisor targets.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping standards.
• Prepare the daily production report.
• Ensure personal safety and safe conduct to protect people and property.
• Other duties as assigned by department head.

Job description

1 : Assisting in the setup of machine and material preparation base upon the process drawing and material picking list.

2 : Responsible to perform the manufacturing job base upon the internal QA checksheet and external customer specification requirements.

3 : Take full accountability to reduce the material wastage, machine setup time and run time.

4 : Support TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance) program and work towards reduce machine down time.

5 : Take full accountability for SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) duties and policies.

6 : Take full accountability to assure the machine run time and product output meet the target given by the supervisor.

7 : Take full accountability to assure the work place meet the 5's housekeeping standard.

8 : Take full accountability to perform the daily production report.

9 : Responsible for personal safety and safe conduct as not to endanger other or company properties.

10 : Any other responsibilities which may be assigned from time to time by department head.

Qualification:

1 : Welding Certification

2 : Minimum with 1 years Welding working experience.

3 : Experience or possess knowledge in TIG / MIG / FCAW WELDING.

4 : Good team player, self-motivated and good teamwork spirit.
