Job summary

KLK Alami Edible Oils Sdn Bhd seeks a weighbridge operator to ensure accurate product movement, verify documents and issue weighbridge paperwork. You will monitor storage levels and coordinate with the PIC for nominations, and report abnormalities to the IT department.

The role requires STPM/ Diploma in management, 2+ years in a related field, MS Office skills, and bilingual Malay/English with strong attention to detail to uphold quality standards and SSHE compliance.

Qualifications

• STPM / Diploma in management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related field.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office. Able to read and write well in Malay and English.
• Strong understanding of quality standards preferable.
• Must be precise, accurate and well organized with strong attention to detail.
• Good technical knowledge of supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor proper execution of product movement and to check necessary documents before permitting weighbridge weighing.
• Perform basic checking and verification on the documents and trucks prior to the permit.
• Prepare and issue all relevant documents related to weighbridge movements and trading products and to file it accordingly.
• Monitor the storage level and coordinate with the relevant PIC for storage nomination.
• Monitor and record any abnormal weighing in the Weighbridge.
• Prepare and send out daily closing reports to the PIC via email and update the relevant group.
• Download and sent out weighbridge backup data to IT Department on a monthly basis.
• Report to PIC and IT Department for any system slag or bug and to record down accordingly for audit queries.
• Assist and participate in yearly stock count activity and perform the weighing operation until completed.
• Ensure compliance and enforcement of quality standards and departmental SOP, SSHE regulation.
• Assists in other duties as deemed necessary as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
