Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web-based portal applications, taking end-to-end ownership of the QA process from requirement analysis through test design, execution, defect management, and continuous improvement.

The role requires hands-on web testing, automation scripting (Python) and UI automation using Selenium or Playwright, plus SQL validation in Linux/RHEL

Qualifications

4 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
Strong understanding of software testing principles and defect lifecycle.
Self-driven, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
Hands-on experience testing web-based applications.
Experience in UI and API test automation.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end QA process including requirement review, test planning, design, execution, defect management and reporting.
Design, review, maintain and execute comprehensive manual test cases for web applications.
Develop, maintain and enhance automated test scripts for UI and API testing.
Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity and end-to-end testing.
Plan and execute performance, load and stress testing; analyze results.
