Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Web Developer with 3-5 years to support Channels & EAI systems within the Core Banking environment. The role focuses on development and Level 2 (L2) support for AS400-based applications, including payment systems and deployment automation processes.

The ideal candidate will bring proficiency in RPG, C, and Java, plus familiarity with ALDON deployment tooling, DevOps basics, and robust problem-solving abilities to maintain smooth transaction processing.

Qualifications

• AS/400 platform and DB2 experience required.
• Advanced AS/400 COBOL 400 programming skills.
• Proficiency in RPG, C and Java.
• Must have L2 support experience (incident handling, resolution).
• Understanding of Channels & EAI systems.
• Familiarity with payment processing systems.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps practices.
• Experience with ALDON deployment tool.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for Channels & EAI applications on AS400.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using RPG, C, and Java; support payment systems.
• Support deployment and DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment.
• Manage and support ALDON for software deployment automation on AS400.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and implement improvements.
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and fixes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Web Developer with 3-5 years to support Channels & Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) systems within the Core Banking environment. The role focuses on development and Level 2 (L2) support for AS400-based applications, including payment systems and deployment automation processes.

Required Skills:

• Mandatory hands-on experience with AS400 platform and DB2 database. Advanced skills with AS/400 COBOL 400 (Programming Language)
• Proficiency in RPG, C, and/or Java programming
• Must have experience in L2 support (incident handling, issue resolution)
• Understanding of Channels & EAI systems
• Familiarity with payment processing systems
• Basic knowledge of DevOps practices
• Experience working with ALDON deployment tool

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to Core Banking environments
• Knowledge of system integration and middleware concepts
• Experience in automation and CI/CD pipelines
