Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia is seeking a results-driven sales professional to grow deposits, insurance and wealth products. You will prospect new customers, handle end-to-end account openings, and ensure data accuracy in our systems.

This role emphasizes cross-selling, high service standards, and adherence to KYC/AML policies while leveraging HL Connect to deepen client relationships and expand our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Banking, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Marketing or Business Studies.
• Licenses like PCE/CIELI/FIMM etc. are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Solicit customers for Deposits, Insurance and Investment Products within guidelines.
• Complete cold calling to increase acquisition.
• Source and develop new customer leads through referrals.
• Handle Account Opening including Debit Card issuance.
• Maintain account information in the system for accuracy.
• Facilitate HL Connect for new accounts to increase penetration.
• Cross-sell banking products to increase customer stickiness.
• Maintain high professionalism and comply with policies and regulations.
• Uphold service standards set by the Bank.
