Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz (China) Technology Co., Ltd. is seeking a diligent soldering technician in Johor Bahru to run end-to-end machine setups, operate wave soldering lines, and monitor production targets.

You will perform pre- and post-solder inspections, maintain equipment, coordinate loading/unloading of assemblies, and work with process engineers to improve yield while following IPC-A-610 standards and ESD safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with PCB soldering processes and quality inspections.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and ESD practices is essential.
• Adherence to SOPs and safety regulations is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Managed end-to-end machine setup, operation, and monitoring to meet production targets.
• Optimized solder pot temperatures, conveyor speeds, and flux settings to align with PCB and component requirements.
• Executed pre- and post-soldering inspections to guarantee high-quality joints and identify defects.
• Maintained wave soldering equipment through scheduled maintenance and cleaning to minimize downtime.
• Coordinated loading/unloading of assemblies using pallets, fixtures, and conveyors.
• Collaborated with process engineers to troubleshoot issues and enhance soldering yield.
• Follow all ESD-safe practices and IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.
• Adhere to SOPs and safety regulations.
