Job summary

Hach Malaysia (100% subsidiary of Veralto) seeks a Service Engineer IST to provide in-house servicing, calibration, maintenance and customer support for water quality instruments in Malaysia.

The role requires a bachelor in electrical/electronic/mechanical engineering, 3 years of service experience, strong diagnostic and communication skills, a driving license and own car for site visits, with 10–20% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in service, maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Must have strong hands-on servicing, maintenance and calibration experience.
• Excellent communication skills for customer support and quotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal servicing and calibration tasks.
• Conduct servicing and maintenance on equipment submitted for inspection.
• Handle customer instruments and calibration equipment.
• Follow calibration procedures to ensure accurate results and issue certificates.
• Maintain service area organization and documentation.
• Provide customer support for instrument use and maintenance.
• Manage CRS for service tracking and quotations.
• Travel to customer sites for detailed assessments when required.
