Job summary

Atomic Solutions is seeking a field service engineer to perform on-site installation, validation and commissioning of instruments in Malaysia. You will troubleshoot issues, provide technical support or training at the customer site, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure satisfaction.

The role requires a Diploma/Engineering degree, willingness to travel 40–60% and the ability to visit local and overseas customers as needed.

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Willing to travel locally and overseas when required.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site installation, validation and commissioning of instruments.
Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs.
Provide high level technical support or training to customers at their location.
Interface with cross functional teams including field applications, customer support, product management, manufacturing and marketing/sales.
Prepare quotations and clarify technical specifications with customers.
Triage field issues with field applications scientists and coordinate with teams.
Complete paperwork in a timely and professional manner.
Communicate with clients and colleagues during weekends or public holidays if needed.
Ensure customer satisfaction and implement corrective actions as required.
Able to travel nationwide or worldwide to meet manufacturers/customers.
Establish and develop good customer and supplier service relationships.
