The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Water Treatment or related fields, with 1–2 years of relevant experience and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Certificate / Diploma in Water Treatment, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, Food Science or other related disciplines.
• 1–2 years of experience in water processing/water treatment preferred with strong technical knowledge and hands‑on skills.
• Good understanding of water treatment processes, equipment and operations.
• Strong technical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and lead a team.
• Willing to work on shifts and during rest days/public holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily water processing and water source operations.
• Monitor water treatment processes and ensure all parameters are within specification.
• Supervise and guide the QC/technical team in daily activities.
• Perform inspection and troubleshooting of water processing equipment.
• Assist in filter media replacement and backwashing activities for filter media.
• Monitor and report process abnormalities, non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety and environmental requirements.
• Maintain proper operational records and documentation.
• Support preventive maintenance, cleaning and sanitation activities.
• Participate in process improvement and other projects as assigned.
