Job summary

Angenet Sdn Bhd (Spritzer Berhad Yong Peng Branch) invites a QA Executive to join the quality assurance team in Yong Peng, Johor. This full-time role focuses on maintaining product quality, regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

You will oversee IQC/IPQC, audits, CAPA, and supplier quality while leading a QA team. The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in a related field with at least 3 years of QA/QC experience in food/beverage

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years QA/QC experience in food/beverage manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of QMS, FSMS, GMP and Halal standards.
• Experience with audits, CAPA, and supplier quality.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee QA operations to ensure product quality, food safety and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and maintain compliance with QMS, FSMS and Halal Assurance System requirements.
• Oversee QA activities including IQC, IPQC, finished product quality, supplier quality and non-conformance management.
• Ensure effective implementation of GMP, hygiene, sanitation and quality standards throughout production.
• Oversee customer complaints, CAR, SCAR and corrective action follow-up to ensure effective resolution.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, document control, calibration and other quality system activities.
• Monitor raw water, process water and finished product quality, including water sampling and testing programs.
• Lead product trials, test runs, validation and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, certification and customer requirements, including packaging artwork review.
• Lead and develop the QA team, monitor quality performance and KPIs, drive continuous improvement projects, and undertake other ad-hoc duties and assignments as directed by management.

About the role

We are seeking a QA Executive to join the quality assurance and control team at Angenet Sdn Bhd (Spritzer Berhad Yong Peng Branch). This is a full-time position based in Yong Peng, Johor. The QA Executive will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our product quality standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations. This position is integral to our commitment to delivering superior quality products to our customers and upholding industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

• Degree/Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Quality Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, preferably in the food, beverage, bottled water or manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge and practical experience in QMS, FSMS, GMP and Halal requirements.
• Familiar with internal/external audits, non-conformance management, CAPA, customer complaints and supplier quality management.
• Knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements, including water quality and product compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills with good attention to detail.
• Good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate a QA team and work effectively with different departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality-related documentation and reporting.
• Candidates with strong relevant technical experience and knowledge will also be considered
