Job summary

SPX Express is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator based in Kanowit, Sarawak. The role focuses on coordinating daily activities with drivers, receiving parcels from linehaul, and ensuring timely delivery across routes.

You will lead a small team of sorters and drivers, monitor KPI compliance, and uphold safety SOPs. The position offers a dynamic environment and shift-based work patterns.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related discipline preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication capabilities.
• Ability to adapt to ambiguity and a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks for sorters & drivers depending on headcount.
• Receive inbound parcels from the linehaul team.
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor driver behavior and maintain high level of customer service.
• Assist the fleet team lead with deployment and training of new drivers.
• Monitor and report KPI compliance.
• Ensure safety policies and SOPs for in-hub parcel collection.
