Job summary

SPX Express in Sabah is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee daily parcel operations. You will delegate tasks to sorters and drivers, coordinating inbound and outbound activities to meet delivery targets.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment. A diploma or degree in Business or Supply Chain is advantageous, with practical Excel and routing knowledge beneficial.

Qualifications

• Legal right to work in Sabah under state law.
• Innovative leader with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of postcodes, routing and mapping is a plus.
• Working pattern includes 45 hours weekly with rotational shifts.

• Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure all delivery activities are carried out in a timely manner
• Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service
• Assist the fleet team lead in the deployment and training of new drivers where applicable
• Monitor and report KPI compliance
• Ensure the compliance of safety policies and standard operations procedures for in-hub parcel collection

Requirements

• Legally allowed to work in Sabah based on respective state law requirements
• Candidates currently based in Pitas are encouraged to apply
• Willing to work on a rational shift basis depending on business needs
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience in logistics operations would be an advantage
• Familiarity with postcodes / routing / mapping would be of good use
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to deal with ambiguous situations
• Fast learner, comfortable with a dynamic environment
• Diploma / Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines is advantageous
