Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Penang is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to plan, organize and control inventory activities and lead process improvements within a high-volume, high-mix warehouse.

You will oversee inventory accuracy, traceability, and collaboration with production, while managing daily Main Store operations, material receiving, storage and kitting. Familiarity with Oracle/WMS/ERP/SAP and lean initiatives is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Admin / Economics / IE / Production Management.
• Good in English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 5 years in a high-volume, high-mix warehouse with at least 3 years in supervisory role.
• Experience with Oracle/WMS/ERP/SAP/MRP tools.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and quality improvement projects.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, lead and control inventory activities.

• Supervise and analyze inventory balance, transaction & reconciliation (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
• Review manpower and operation needs; control consumable expenses and identify cost-efficient options.
• Analyze and summarize inventory transactions and ageing for management review (Shift Performance Report).
• Supervise daily Main Store operations and report progress or issues to Manager.
• Complete daily material receiving, storage, picking and kitting; highlight discrepancies to executive.
• Ensure compliance to Safety & Environment, ESD, Cleanroom and housekeeping guidelines.

Job description

Regularly review inventory accuracy and establish traceability in movement via shop floor system and material transaction.

Supervise and analyze inventory balance, transaction, and inventory reconciliation for weekly, monthly & quarterly.

Review manpower and operation needs from time to time. Control consumable expenses and identify alternative cost-efficient operation expenditure.

To analyze and summarize inventory transaction and ageing for manager review and decision making. Eg. Shift Performance Report

Supervise daily Main Store operation activities and report to Manager progress or issue arises.

To complete daily material receiving, storage, picking and kitting to support production. Highlight any inventory discrepancies to executive.

Ensure compliance to Safety & Environment, ESD, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines.

Qualification and skills needed:
