Local Assembly Sdn. Bhd. (LA) in Gelang Patah, Johor, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and coordinate with Production, Planning, Purchasing, QC and Logistics for timely material supply.

The role requires a Diploma in Logistics or related field, 2–3 years of warehouse experience, and hands-on skills in inventory control, ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. You will lead staff, ensure 5S standards, accuracy, and efficient material handling across receiving,

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant warehouse operations experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in inventory control, stocktaking, material handling, and warehouse documentation.
• Experience supervising warehouse staff and coordinating daily warehouse activities.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations (receiving, storing, issuing, picking, packing, and shipping).
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling and arrangement according to procedures.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Purchasing, QC and Logistics to ensure timely material supply.
• Record all material movements and transactions in the inventory system accurately.
• Control non-conforming, rejected, excess, and obsolete materials.
• Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, monitor performance and adherence to requirements.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and housekeeping standards.
• Prepare warehouse reports and documentation; monitor space utilization.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, traceability, and operational performance.
• Handle and store materials to prevent damage, loss, contamination, or mix-ups.

Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, picking, packing, and shipping of raw materials, components, and finished goods.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy through regular stock checks, cycle counts, and physical inventory activities.

Ensure all materials and finished goods are properly stored, identified, labelled, and arranged according to warehouse procedures.

Coordinate with Production, Planning, Purchasing, QC, and Logistics to ensure timely material supply and smooth warehouse operations.

Monitor incoming and outgoing material movements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the inventory system.

Ensure proper control and segregation of non-conforming materials, rejected parts, excess stock, and obsolete materials.

Supervise warehouse staff, assign daily tasks, monitor work performance, and ensure work is completed according to operational requirements.

Investigate inventory discrepancies, stock shortages, and material handling issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Ensure warehouse activities comply with company procedures, safety requirements, 5S standards, and housekeeping practices.

Prepare and maintain warehouse reports, inventory records, stock movement reports, and other relevant documentation.

Monitor warehouse space utilization and ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently to support production and shipment requirements.

Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, material traceability, and overall operational performance.

Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage, loss, contamination, or mix-up.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or a related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in inventory control, stocktaking, material handling, and warehouse documentation.

Experience in supervising warehouse staff and coordinating daily warehouse activities.

Familiarity with inventory management systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

Good leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure.

Knowledge of warehouse safety, 5S, and proper material storage practices.

Responsible, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
