Job summary

AkzoNobel Paints (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a warehouse associate to support inbound receiving, verify documents, and move stock using a forklift. You will help ensure accurate goods receipt and maintain safe, organized storage in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold at least an SPM, have 1 year of warehouse experience, can operate a forklift, and are able to work rotating shifts while following safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Forklift operation required.
• Able to perform manual handling and warehouse activities.
• Willing to work rotation shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support inbound receiving activities including unloading and checking incoming goods.
• Verify goods against PO, DO, packing list and shipments.
• Operate forklift for loading, unloading, put-away, and stock movement.
• Maintain correct warehouse locations and stock organisation.
• Assist with Goods Receipt (GR) preparation and handover for system processing.
• Perform physical stock checks and support stock counting and inventory accuracy.
• Ensure safe handling and follow 5S and safety procedures.
• Support loading and preparation for local and export shipments when required.
• Report discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisor.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Job description

Support inbound receiving activities, including unloading and checking incoming goods.

Verify physical goods against relevant documents such as PO, Delivery Order (DO), packing list, and shipment documents.

Operate forklift for loading, unloading, put-away, picking, and stock movement.

Ensure goods are stored in the correct warehouse location and maintain proper stock arrangement.

Assist with GR (Goods Receipt) preparation and ensure received goods are properly handed over for system processing.

Perform physical stock checks and support stock counting and inventory accuracy.

Ensure goods are handled safely to prevent damage during receiving and storage.

Maintain good housekeeping and follow 5S, warehouse safety, and company procedures.

Support loading and preparation of goods for local and export shipments when required.

Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or receiving issues to the supervisor.

Perform other warehouse duties assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.

Job Requirements

Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.

Previous experience in inbound, receiving, operations is preferred.

Must be able to operate a forklift.

Able to perform manual handling and warehouse activities.

Basic computer

Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions and safety procedures.

Good attendance, discipline, and a responsible working attitude.
