Job summary

Maersk Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Warehouse Operations Planner to plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring orders are processed efficiently and customer requirements are met. You will work with Customer Service, Operations and support teams to optimise resources and meet productivity targets.

Key responsibilities include prioritising inbound/outbound/inventory tasks, communicating with stakeholders, and driving improvements in warehouse performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Willing and able to work on rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays, when required.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations is preferred.
• Good planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized and proactive in resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritise daily inbound, outbound and inventory activities based on customer requirements and capacity.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations to follow the agreed schedule.
• Prepare daily work plans and allocate workloads to maximise productivity.
• Monitor order progress and resolve operational issues affecting service levels.
• Communicate status, delays and recovery plans with Customer Service and stakeholders.
• Ensure customer priorities and shipment cut-off times are met.
• Track warehouse performance and identify efficiency improvements.
• Maintain planning records and prepare operational reports as required.
• Support continuous improvement to warehouse processes and productivity.
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies, safety standards and procedures.
