Job summary

Maersk in Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Operations Planner to organize daily warehouse activities, prioritize inbound, outbound, and inventory tasks, and ensure customer requirements are met.

You will collaborate with Customer Service, Operations and other support teams to optimize resources, monitor workload, and maintain service level targets while complying with safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Willing and able to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays, when required.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations is preferred.
• Good planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying and resolving operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize daily inbound, outbound, and inventory activities based on customer requirements and operational capacity.
• Coordinate closely with warehouse operations to ensure work is executed according to the agreed schedule.
• Prepare daily work plans and allocate workloads to maximize productivity and resource utilization.
• Monitor order progress and proactively resolve operational issues that may impact service levels.
• Communicate with Customer Service and other stakeholders regarding operational status, delays, and recovery plans.
• Ensure customer priorities and shipment cut-off times are met.
• Track warehouse performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks.
• Maintain accurate planning records and prepare operational reports when required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse processes and productivity.
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
