Job summary

3A United Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team and optimize daily warehouse operations. The role requires strong knowledge of WMS, inventory control, cycle counting, and safety, with Mandarin fluency for communication with a diverse workforce and suppliers.

You will oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance while driving efficiency and accuracy across processes, including shipping, order fulfillment, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and best practices.
• Demonstrated expertise in Warehouse Management systems, including inventory control, stock rotation, and cycle counting to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. This includes effective delegation, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
• Solid understanding of Logistics Coordination, including planning and overseeing the movement of goods, optimizing routes, and managing transportation schedules.
• Experience in efficient Order Fulfillment processes, ensuring timely and accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of customer orders.
• Thorough knowledge of Safety Procedures and regulations within a warehouse setting, including implementing and enforcing safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure workplace.
• Proficiency in Shipping and Receiving operations, managing inbound and outbound shipments, verifying documentation, and ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Experience in Staff Training and development, onboarding new employees, and providing ongoing training to enhance skills and performance.
• Strong Problem-Solving skills to identify and address operational challenges, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve warehouse efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal departments and external partners.
• Fluency in Mandarin is required for effective communication with a diverse workforce and potentially international suppliers/partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Implement and enforce strict inventory control procedures to maintain accurate stock levels, minimize discrepancies, and prevent loss or damage.
• Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods, both inbound and outbound.
• Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel, conducting regular safety training and inspections.
• Manage order fulfillment processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in picking, packing, and shipping orders to meet customer demands.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technologies to track inventory, manage space, and optimize workflow.
• Conduct regular performance monitoring of warehouse operations and staff, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to ensure seamless supply chain operations and meet business objectives.
• Manage the shipping and receiving functions, ensuring all goods are properly documented, inspected, and stored.
