Job summary

Nippon Express (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Operations Coordinator to coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch to ensure timely execution.

The role requires a diploma or degree in logistics or related field, at least 3 years in warehouse operations, and strong English/Bahasa Malaysia communication, with proficiency in Excel; willingness to work outside normal hours.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma / Professional Certificate / Bachelor's Degree in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
Knowledge of inventory control and customs procedures will be an advantage.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Good coordination, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and with different departments.
Willing to work beyond normal working hours, including weekends and public holidays, when required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch to ensure smooth and timely execution.
Monitor inventory and warehouse activities to maintain stock accuracy, proper space utilisation, documentation accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with Transport, Customer Service, Operations and other relevant departments to ensure smooth cargo movement and timely resolution of operational issues.
Monitor warehouse productivity, manpower utilisation, equipment and operational resources, and follow up on issues to minimise disruption and maintain service standards.
Supervise and support warehouse staff in daily work allocation, operational procedures, safety and workplace discipline.
Prepare operational reports and support process improvement and cost-control initiatives, while ensuring compliance with company, customer, safety and regulatory requirements.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.
