Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Assistant/Senior Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations in Malaysia. You will receive goods, verify quantities and quality against orders, and report discrepancies to the supervisor.

You will handle storage, picking, packing, dispatch support, inventory control, and safety compliance while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. The role requires teamwork, independence, and basic computer skills, with prior warehouse experience

Qualifications

• Must possess an SPM, Qualification Certificate, or Diploma in any field.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse/logistics experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
• Responsible and able to work independently.
• Able to operate computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods and verify quantities, descriptions, and quality against purchase orders.
• Report discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor.
• Label and store products in correct locations according to warehouse layout.
• Pick items accurately based on order lists or system instructions.
• Pack and label items securely for delivery or transfer.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods from trucks or containers.
• Ensure outgoing shipments are complete and properly documented.
• Conduct regular stock counts and update system records.
• Follow warehouse safety rules and maintain clean, organized areas.
• Support other warehouse functions as assigned by supervisors.
