Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a warehouse operator to manage daily warehouse operations, including preparing and issuing Delivery Orders, verifying stock details, and ensuring accurate picking and release of goods. You will maintain inventory records, monitor stock balances, perform physical counts, and help with stock takes and audits.

Ideal candidates have experience in warehouse or logistics, basic computer skills, and good attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, inventory or logistics is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
• Good attention to detail when checking quantities and product information.
• Able to perform physical stock counting and warehouse duties.
• Responsible, organized, and able to work independently with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Delivery Orders based on approved customer orders and delivery instructions.
• Verify item descriptions, product codes, quantities, and other details before issuing DOs.
• Ensure correct stock is picked and released according to the DO.
• Monitor and maintain accurate stock balances in the warehouse and inventory system.
• Perform regular physical stock checks and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Ensure all stock movements, including receiving, issuing, transferring, and returning goods, are recorded accurately and promptly.
• Conduct stock counting and assist with periodic stock takes and inventory audits.
• Maintain proper documentation for all stock transactions and deliveries.
• Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, shortages, or other warehouse issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Keep the warehouse organized to facilitate efficient stock identification, picking, and dispatch.
