Job summary

AMETEK Engineered Materials Sdn Bhd is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all receiving, storing, issuing and shipping activities. The role involves training warehouse staff, managing MRP- and ERP-driven inventory, and ensuring accurate stock records and timely deliveries.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5 years related experience, and proficiency in Excel, Navision, and SAP Ariba.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Experience with MRP operating environments; SAP Ariba is a plus.
3 years of Supervisory experience and ability to handle conflict.
Excellent working knowledge of supply chain and Lean inventory management.

Responsibilities

Oversee inventory management including receiving, storing, issuing and shipping goods.
Supervise warehouse assistants and material handlers; provide training and guidance.
Monitor inventory control and raise PR/PO for indirect materials based on stock levels.
Ensure accurate receipts in NAV and Ariba systems; post inventory movements.
Coordinate production order kitting to stage materials before production start date.
Plan stockroom layout and ensure 5S compliance to improve space utilization.
Conduct cycle counts monthly and annual stock takes; improve accuracy.
Supervise packing and shipping; ensure on-time delivery and coordinate with forwarders.
Ensure import/export and customs compliance; collaborate with logistics.
