JOB DESCRIPTION

The Warehouse clerk is responsible for one or more of the following activities: receiving and warehousing incoming raw materials, equipment, assemblies and MRO, from suppliers and other Masimo facilities; kitting material of Jobs, Shipping material to other Masimo facilities and direct shipments to customers performing proper transactions into Expandable.

Job Summary

The Warehouse clerk is responsible for one or more of the following activities: receiving and warehousing incoming raw materials, equipment, assemblies and MRO, from suppliers and other Masimo facilities; kitting material of Jobs, Shipping material to other Masimo facilities and direct shipments to customers performing proper transactions into Expandable.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Receiving and Warehousing (put away) function for incoming raw materials according to company policies and procedures.
• Kitting of Jobs for manufacturing, maintaining traceability of lot numbers in raw materials.
• Ship materials, released finished products, in-process goods and supplies to other Masimo plants following all company policies and procedures.
• Direct shipments to customers following all company policies and procedures.
• Perform material counts according to the Cycle Count Program and follow up discrepancies to find raw cause and preventive actions.
• Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of expense items. Notify Warehouse Administrator of potential material shortages.
• Maintain records of material movement within facility in accordance with Company procedures.
• Reconcile material discrepancies and coordinate paperwork.
• Participate in inventory audits as required
• Organize and maintain good housekeeping in Warehouse.
• Ensure that safety is observed in throughout the area.
• Perform other activities as required by the company.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Above 3 years experience in standard inventory controls and practices
• General mathematical skills
• Ability to read, understands, and follows Company quality policy.
• Experience in control of documents and material traceability
• Experience in following up warehouse systems
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Forklift operation experience
• Good communication and computer skills
• Good housekeeping skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Some prior experience in a continuous improvement environment
• Warehouse and Inventory control prior experience in manufacturing facility
• Some basic knowledge of reading English

Education

SPM/STPM or DIPLOMA

Physical requirements/Work Environment

This position primarily works in a warehouse environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Must be able to routinely lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to operate warehouse equipment & tools, and may also need to operate a Forklift. Limited use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when working in the warehouse or walking in the facilities. The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.
