Job summary

SHARIKAT TA KIONG SDN BHD is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Checker in Kuching, Sarawak. You will verify orders against invoices, packing lists and delivery orders, ensuring accuracy before dispatch.

Applicants should be able to read invoices, maintain high numerical accuracy and report discrepancies promptly. Overtime may be required, and you will work with the warehouse team to ensure safe, orderly packing and loading.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse checking, stock control, picking or packing.
• Able to read and understand invoices, picking lists and delivery orders.
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Able to identify discrepancies in item codes, quantities and product descriptions.
• Honest, responsible, disciplined and accountable for completed checks.
• Willing to work overtime and in Kuching, Sarawak.

• Identify missing, excess, damaged, incorrect or mixed goods.
• Record and report discrepancies to the Store Head or in charge immediately.
• Reconfirm goods with driver before dispatch.
• Ensure goods are properly packed and labelled to prevent damage.
• Conduct a final check before loading onto company vehicles.

Job description

A Warehouse Checker ensures that every order is complete, accurate and ready for delivery. The successful candidate must pay close attention to details and report any discrepancies before goods are dispatched.

Key responsibilities

Check all picked goods against invoices, picking lists and delivery orders

Verify product descriptions, item codes, quantities, batch details and physical condition

Ensure the correct goods and quantities are prepared before packing and delivery

Identify missing, excess, damaged, incorrect or mixed goods

Record and report all discrepancies to the Store Head or person in charge immediately

Ensure all discrepancies are investigated and resolved before approving the order for dispatch

Mark, sign or update the relevant documents after completing each inspection

Conduct a final check of goods before loading onto company vehicles

Reconfirm the goods and quantities with the driver or delivery team before dispatch

Ensure goods are properly packed, labelled and arranged to prevent damage during delivery

About you

Previous experience in warehouse checking, stock control, picking or packing is preferred

Able to read and understand invoices, picking lists and delivery orders

Good numerical skills and attention to detail

Able to identify differences in item codes, quantities and product descriptions

Honest, responsible, disciplined and accountable for completed checks

Able to work independently and cooperate with the warehouse team

Physically fit and able to perform warehouse duties

Willing to work overtime when required

Willing to work in Kuching, Sarawak
