Job summary

Maersk Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Warehouse Operations Planner to plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring orders are processed efficiently and customer requirements are met. You will work with Customer Service, Operations and support teams to optimise resources and meet productivity targets.

Key responsibilities include prioritising inbound/outbound/inventory tasks, communicating with stakeholders, and driving improvements in warehouse performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Willing and able to work on rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays, when required.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations is preferred.
• Good planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized and proactive in resolving issues.

The Warehouse Operations Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure orders are processed efficiently and customer requirements are met. This role works closely with Customer Service, Operations, and other support teams to optimize resources, monitor workload, and ensure smooth warehouse operations while meeting productivity and service level targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize daily inbound, outbound, and inventory activities based on customer requirements and operational capacity.
• Coordinate closely with warehouse operations to ensure work is executed according to the agreed schedule.
• Prepare daily work plans and allocate workloads to maximize productivity and resource utilization.
• Monitor order progress and proactively resolve operational issues that may impact service levels.
• Communicate with Customer Service and other stakeholders regarding operational status, delays, and recovery plans.
• Ensure customer priorities and shipment cut-off times are met.
• Track warehouse performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks.
• Maintain accurate planning records and prepare operational reports when required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse processes and productivity.
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
