Job summary

Maersk Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Shah Alam to plan and assign manpower, monitor attendance, and oversee daily warehouse activities from receiving to loading, ensuring work aligns with SOP and customer requirements.

The role requires at least 3 years in a supervisory role and experience managing a team of operators, pickers, packers, or warehouse assistants; familiarity with WMS and shift work is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of managing operations and WMS basics.

Manpower Management and Operations Monitoring

• Plan and assign manpower based on workload.

Basic System Operation

• Have basic knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System)
• Monitor order releases and task assignments in the system.
• Assist in troubleshooting simple system issues and elevate when necessary.
• Ensure inventory and operational transactions are updated accurately in the system.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure staff follow safety rules and company procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping and workplace organization.
• Report and follow up on any safety concerns.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 3 years in a supervisory or team leader role preferred.
• Experience managing a team of operators, pickers, packers, or warehouse assistants.
• Have the knowledge of “”know how” on managing operation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in footwear, apparel, fashion 3PL, warehousing, logistics, or distribution center operations.
• Able to work in shift
