Job summary

Wasco Berhad in Malaysia is hiring a Warehouse Assistant to ensure incoming materials are checked against the Delivery Order, and goods are loaded/unloaded with proper documentation. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and maintain designated storage areas.

Responsibilities include packing per SOP, signing documents, maintaining housekeeping, and performing duties as assigned. Minimum 1 year in warehouse operations is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
• Basic understanding of warehouse procedures, including receiving, loading, unloading, packing, and storage of goods.
• Able to perform physical checking and tally quantities against relevant documents.
• Good attention to detail and able to maintain proper documentation.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work with company procedures, safety requirements, and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all incoming materials and goods are in good condition and tally with the Delivery Order (D.O.).
• Report to Warehouse Manager if any received materials or goods do not match the Delivery Order (D.O.).
• Ensure quantity of goods loaded and unloaded is physically checked and tallied with relevant documentation.
• Ensure all goods are loaded/unloaded properly with the required documentation.
• Report to Warehouse Manager if any goods are damaged during delivery, loading, or unloading.
• Ensure all packing of goods complies with company regulations and SOP.
• Ensure required documents are provided by the PIC and properly signed before packing/loading.
• Ensure goods are allocated and stored in designated warehouse areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the warehouse and surrounding areas, including daily morning housekeeping.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Job description

To ensure all incoming materials and goods received are in good condition and tally with the Delivery Order (D.O.).

To report to the Warehouse Manager if any received materials or goods do not match the Delivery Order (D.O.).

To ensure the quantity of goods loaded and unloaded is physically checked and tallied with the relevant documentation.

To ensure all goods are loaded and unloaded properly with the required documentation.

To report to the Warehouse Manager if any goods are damaged during delivery, loading, or unloading.

To ensure all packing of goods is carried out in accordance with the company's regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

To ensure all required documents are provided by the PIC and properly signed before packing or loading the goods.

To ensure goods are properly allocated and stored in the designated areas within the warehouse.

To maintain the cleanliness and housekeeping of the warehouse and surrounding areas, including completing housekeeping every morning before commencing work.

To perform any additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager from time to time.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of working experience in warehouse operations or a related field.

Basic understanding of warehouse procedures, including receiving, loading, unloading, packing, and storage of goods.

Able to perform physical checking and tally quantities against relevant documents.

Good attention to detail and able to maintain proper documentation.

Responsible, disciplined, and able to work

Able to follow company procedures, safety requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Good organizational and time management skills.

Able to perform the physical duties required for warehouse operations, including loading and unloading goods
