Job summary

Metro Excel Resources is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Selangor-based team. The role involves receiving, picking, packing and dispatching goods, plus maintaining stock accuracy and safe warehouse practices.

You should be physically fit, able to lift and move goods, work in a warehouse environment, and cooperate with colleagues. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required; punctuality and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Physically fit and able to lift, carry and move goods.
• Able to work in a warehouse environment.
• Basic knowledge of stock handling and inventory control.
• Able to perform receiving, checking, picking, packing and dispatching of goods.
• Good attention to detail when checking quantity, product codes and condition.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Responsible, punctual and disciplined.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends or public holidays when required.
• Able to follow company safety and warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities

• Check the quantity, product codes and condition of goods received.
• Arrange and store goods properly according to warehouse procedures.
• Perform picking, packing and preparation of orders for delivery.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods safely.
• Conduct stock counting and report any discrepancies, damages or shortages.
• Prepare goods for dispatch and delivery according to customer orders.
• Ensure warehouse areas are clean, organised and safe at all times.
• Assist with stock transfers and movement of goods.
• Operate warehouse equipment and tools safely where authorised.
• Assist with loading/unloading and delivery-related activities when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.

Education

SPM or equivalent
