Job summary

Tai-Progress Metal Sdn Bhd in Selangor is seeking a storekeeper to manage daily warehouse and store operations, ensuring accurate recording of goods and adherence to procedures.

Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, check items against PO/DO, organize storage, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular stock counts. The role requires a minimum SPM, basic computer skills, and strong organizational abilities with a team-friendly attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Previous experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory management is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain inventory records.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and physically fit.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to learn and follow company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse and store operations.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
• Check delivered items against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO), and related documents.
• Organize and store goods properly to ensure easy identification and retrieval.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Prepare and arrange goods for delivery or internal use.
• Coordinate with suppliers, purchasing, logistics, and internal departments regarding stock and deliveries.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safely maintained.
• Monitor stock movement and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Perform other warehouse and inventory-related duties assigned by management.
